"Plan of Salvation"

There is life after death and God has established a Plan of Salvation so that you can spend eternity in Heaven.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him would not perish, but have ever lasting life."

Romans 4:25 says "He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification."

Jesus paid for all our sins by dying on the cross. Three days after His death God raised Him to life again.

When we believe this we can receive what is called salvation and become a Child of God. His Holy Spirit will enter our lives to comfort, guide, help, and counsel us during our earthly life; when our earthly life is over we will spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Separated From God

Salvation does not happen automatically because you by nature are separated from God. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fall sort of the glory of God."

The Cross Closes That Separation

Jesus closed the Gap of Separation between God and man, and paid the penalty for our sins when he died on the Cross and arose from the grave. In 1 Peter 2:24 the Bible says "He personally bore the load of our sins in his own body when he died on the cross making it possible for us to have eternal life."

Entering In

You can be saved and enter into God's Family by personally inviting Christ into your life. John 1:12 The Bible says "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."

• Realize that you have a spiritual need. "I am a Sinner.
  
• Repent by changing your mind and your actions-turn from your sin.
  
• Believe that Jesus died for you on the cross for your sins.
  
• Receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life through prayer.

Your Prayer

• "Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. I now turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life to you. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me, Amen."

Now take God at his word and claim your salvation by faith.

Your New Christian Life

God now see's you as totally pure, clean and white as snow "free from blame and guilt." Although Satan will try to interfere with your new Christian life just remember that God's Holy Spirit is always with you and that His power is much greater than Satan's.

Find a local Church and begin to associate with other Christians. Ask them the questions you are sure to have about your new life in Christ.

Get your own Bible. There are several good versions, but the "New International Version" is an easy one to understand. Read your bible everyday and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth.

Talk to the Pastor about being baptized, and be sure to tell others about your new life in Christ and God's Plan of Salvation.

When you accepted the Lord as you Savior the angels in Heaven rejoiced! "Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10
